The Calm

Sometimes, when I am really relaxed, and in the inner states of consciousness just before I drift off to sleep, I can visualize a picture very similar to this Nebula. It wasn’t until recently that I happened upon the James Webb space telescope discoveries they have been making over the last several years. This nebula showed its face to me. It was very fascinating, and a strong impression of where I go intergalactically when the mind is at peace. I’m noticing for myself there is so much in this vast universe and greater cosmos, that we have not even begun to touch let alone witness with our human eyes.

A little science behind this stunning Near Infrared Southern Ring planetary Nebula

This stellar Nebula is about 2000 light years away.

It’s caused by a dying star that has spilled a large portion of its mass in successive waves. The orange bubble foam image around the nebula is actually due to

molecular hydrogen that’s newly formed in this expansion and lighting up shells of gas and dust of this Nebula, according to Carl Gordon an astronomer specialist. The blue haze that you see towards the middle or inner area is actually due to hot ionized gas that’s heated from the leftover core of the star. We can also see distant galaxies in the background.
